There is nothing to set this restaurant apart from the rest of the dining options in Berwick.
The building is historically significant and quite beautiful. The fit-out inside is just off the mark. Is it casual or fine dining? I know that the restaurant is trying to change its image and move away from fine dining, but it would be so nice to have a great fine dining restaurant in this building.
I was so happy when the courthouse/legal themed menus went, but the marketing emails are of a similar tone and make me cringe. A recent Valentine's offer of a pearl necklace with a booking(!) - if the food and the service are exceptional then promotional offers aren't necessary.
This place needs some PROFESSIONAL PR attention, the Chef needs to stay in the kitchen and the wait staff need some training.November 26, 2016
